Hi, I’m JAMIE MORAGA.

As a young girl, I watched my dad lead in the military while my mom led at home. I carried those early examples with me as I stepped into my own path, founding a woman-owned military and defense contracting business in a deeply male-dominated world.

For nearly two decades, I built, led, and ultimately sold that company, all while becoming a mother and taking on increasing responsibility in every area of my life.

Along the way, I learned that organizations grow, life changes, and the leadership that gets you to success isn’t always the leadership that sustains it.

Shaped by lived leadership as a CEO, founder,
and mother—and a full-circle journey
from founding to exit.

Two strands emerged from my journey, each closely intertwined with my life as a mother:

*Leading a complex company in the military and defense sector

*Revealing the behind-the-scenes reality of leadership as a female founder and CEO through my book, REVERED: The Power of Female Leadership

LEADERSHIP AND M&A EXPERIENCE

I currently lead Franklin Revere LLC. Before that, I was President and CEO of intelliSolutions, inc., a woman-owned small business I founded in 2006 and led through its acquisition in 2022.

I was involved in the full M&A process from the earliest conversations through close, including non-disclosure agreements, assessments, due diligence, negotiations, and contract execution.

DEFENSE & SMALL BUSINESS FOCUS

My work spans more than two decades in the military and defense space, with a focus on small business development, strategic planning, and M&A leadership.

BOARDS & INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP

I’ve also served on corporate and non-profit advisory boards and contributed meaningfully to organizations such as the National Defense Industrial Association (local and national levels) and the San Diego Military Advisory Council, where I served as Past President and now serve as an Advisory Board Member.

The EconoMeter is The San Diego Union-Tribune’s weekly business and economic column, where a panel of local CEOs and economists weighs in on a single timely question about the economy each week.
